| After the purchase of my first pigeon in 2000, I soon realized not only my love for the beauty of the pigeon species but also the enjoyment of racing. During the young bird season of the following year of 2001, my luck began and my bird was awarded the Champion Bird Award. Upon returning in 2002, again I was blessed and my bird and I were awarded Champion Bird, Champion Loft and Champion Speed for the young birds division. | | |
| Several club members were adamant and stated "you can't repeat the same in old birds". For me, that was not the answer and my determination paid off! Again, my bird performed exceptionally well and won! With the award of Champion Bird, Champion Loft and Champion Speed, Hutchins Loft was rapidly becoming a common name in the racing air. |
| In the following season of 2003, my luck continued and my birds continued to work hard for me. Winning Champion Bird, Champion Loft and Champion Speed, my older birds were now in presence and continued when a young silver hen excelled and won the All President's Cup Award in 2004. Soon after her sister (#5510) won First Place Champion Bird in 31-40 lofts. |

As my excitement and love for the sport of pigeon racing continued to grow, I joined the Denton Invitational Racing Pigeon Club in 2005. I am about 40 miles off line and on the long end but took Second Average Speed in 2005 and 2005 old birds.
With many notable names as my competition, in the 2006 Young Bird Season, my birds continued making names for themselves and winning Champion Bird, Champion Speed and Champion Loft. I invite you to look it up at www.dentonracingpigeonclub.com. | |
